Hi wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction for fixing this thing!

It had flashing lights indicating fault F09 so I replaced the circuit board.

The machine now seems to run as before except that there does not appear to be enough water in the drum during the wash or rinse cycles (clothes appear wet but no resting water level can be seen).

I've checked the water supply and filter which are fine and the water seems to enter at a fair rate through the drawer. The machine has also developed quite a smell but I'm not sure how long this has been present as we previously rented the property.

Any help appreciated.

Rinse water only goes up apart way up the door. And is soaked up by the clothes. The pcb you changed had no bearing in the water level at all. Fo9 fault normally if you unplug it for 5 mins it normally clears the error.

Thanks Rocks.

Yeah changing the pcb sorted the original problem but now strange that its not getting enough water.

Running on an empty load there is about 20mm of water in the bottom of the drum.

That's about right. Water never goes above the edge of the inner drum on a hot wash. Cos if door opens it will burn feet and toes. On rinse it goes a bit higher depending on load it adds more as it goes if needed. Then it's absorbed by the clothes.
