Hi, first post so go easy!
We have a Hotpoint WML540 Machine and it was working fine until last week when starting the machine it half filled the machine with water and then stopped, with the door lock flashing.
after emptying the machine we tried it again and the door lock clicked about 5 times and then stopped.
so we replaced the door interlock and tried again and all it did was fill the powder dispenser drawer and then click a few times.
given everything inside the machine a quick check to make sure nothing had come loose, but still no joy!
any suggestions apart from hitting it with a big stick!
for reference to level of tinkering ability I maintain my own car and motorbike and I can solder if needed.
