Old indesit has finally given up the ghost.

I am looking to buy a new machine and this has caught my eye,

but is it any good?

never had Hotpoint before.

Hotpoint are owned by Indesit now

I dont rate much that has been built since (electronics are a particular weak point)
 
nope , try a bosch its better ,read the reviews before you buy a hotpoint .

What you should really look into is energy rating of any piece of kit you intend to buy. A general rule of thumb, the higher the energy rating, the better the quality of a product. Reason being that to pass the EU energy ratng tests, stringent restrictions apply on quality on all components.

Thanx for your replies,

Bought it anyway.
Its "A" rated, got it from E-bay for £100 less than curries / dixons etc would sell it for.

Its Half the price of a Bosch, so if it last slightly longer than half the time of a Bosch its worth it.

make sure its not a graded mc .that means a dent or cust return . :eek:
