When any programme is selected the machine fills with water and the "Door locked" light comes on [as it should].
When fill level is reached "programme end" light comes on & machine empties without drum turning at all [no wash or spin cycle].When empty "door locked" light goes out & door can be opened.
Belt has not come off.
Can anyone offer advice?

My suspicion would be with the pcb this is the electronic programmer printed circuit board and possibly in particular a faulty or corrupt eeprom. This is the chip which is programmed to execute the differnt programs from the users selection. Either way a job for a white goods Tech I think rather than a DIY,er
