Hotter water wanted from cylinder

That is a programmer, definitely not a thermostat, but it looks like it’s only for the heating. I have one almost the same, Honeywell, but that controls both my heating and hot water. What controls your hot water - an immersion?

What’s fixed to the hot water cylinder - got a better picture?

This is my one.

And here is my Worcester boiler downstairs in the kitchen.
I'm trying to establish what controls what.... it's mighty confusing for someone who is not an expert!!

Can’t seem to see any thermostat on there so maybe it’s just an immersion? What’s this thing here - got a close up of that? What’s under the cover? How many pipes coming in and out of your cylinder? Do you have any electrical valves in the pipework?

Pic 1 - single channel programmer, basically turns the boiler on and off at certain times
Pic 2 - Unvented Indirect HW cylinder heated by the boiler
Pic 3 - programmable room thermostat - controls the temperature in the house

The single channel programmer may control the boiler and a 2 port valve for the HW cylinder and the programmable room stat controls the boiler and another 2 port valve for the radiators.

Hard to say though without seeing it all in situ.

On my one have these - the left unit is the thermostat when the water is heated by the boiler and the right unit is the immersion heater which is an electrical back up. I can adjust the temperature of the water under the plastic cover if I wanted to.

The inside of my airing cupboard!!!
Your opinions on what does what will be most welcome!!

Nothing in 1 of 5
2 of 5 needs to be brighter
3 & 4 of 5 we already know
5 of 5 is the cover of the unvented controls. There will be a thermal control in there that's used to increase the temp but honestly you really don't want to be in playing with that.
