OK, so the extension is complete, all electric works done.
Renovating old rooms myself, which involves taking some electric sockets off the walls and then replacing them in the same place after putting insulation in (cables run under the suspended floors).
Should I get the builder to complete now, with the Part P cert etc. for all the work done, or hold out and get one cert to cover the socket moves too? Electrician has said that they charge for each cert, so suggested we wait. But, do I really need to get a cert for moving a socket 60mm forwards?
We do have one structural change left to do (open up a doorway, close another) but apart from that, all main structural bits done.
