How can I replace bath tap tail close to wall?

Hi, my bath tap tail is leaking slightly,
The taps are inaccessible as far as I can work out.
I’m thinking the best option is to cut a hole in the ceiling /chipboard flooring in the kitchen which is below.
Hopefully there wouldn’t be any cables running through that area.
Is that likely to be viable please?

As soon as I mentioned this to my wife she was angling for a new bath, the bath is old but ok.

Is the leaky tap-tail the one closest to the camera? It looks accessible from the picture. If it's leaking from the joint, can you put more PTFE tape on to fix it?

It’s wet down the length of it , how far I can reach anyway.
I think it’s probably just split part way along

Maybe I'm being thick, but are these tap-tails extra extra long? Presumably the far wall in the second pic is the tiled wall we see in the first pic. Is that right?

Hi yes that’s right, I think they may be 1.5m long.

Could be, but it's also possible it's leaking at the join and the water is trickling along the pipe to the lowest point. All guesswork on my part.
Can you actually see where it's leaking from?

Thanks, so the best alternative would be compression fittings?

I'd suggest your best bet might be to replace the entire length between the Tees and the Taps with Plastic Pipework, allowing you to do it with one length of pipe for each Tap and minimise the number of inaccessible joints going forward. Use a 15mm x 3/4" Tap Connector on the far end and that takes it down to 2 Joints per Tap behind the Bath going forward.
