How do I attach this valve to a cabinet?

To anyone reading this from outside the UK, this will look like complete madness;

Until they contract some illness from their tap water that has been polluted by their neighbour's plumbing

the remote possibility of contaminated water flowing back into the mains

it was only a remote possibility that a virus would transfer from animal to human in the far east

No one had ever heard of a douche in the UK until there was a need for them from certain individuals that were not happy to use the UK's habit of using toilet roll to clean themselves after using the toilet. You may also find that you are not allowed to fit one of these to the mains in the USA, Australia, Germany and others .... there is now a much greater focus on clean drinking water and the possibility of contamination from appliances/outlets like these.

You are on a UK DIY site where professionals and experienced DIY'ers give out the correct DIY information to some that may not be as experienced. That also include pointing out when someone may want to take an approach that will breach the UK's regulations and no amount of attempted ridicule of the rules will change that.

I hate the idea that because of someone's ignorance or blatant disregard of the regulations that are applied in this country, that some poor innocent 3rd party can be infected and become quite ill by that inaction.

If the water mains supply is suddenly turned off to your area of homes, or there is a burst mains pipe, the water can and will suck back into the mains supply.
This is actually why double check valves are now to be installed on pipes supplying outside taps for example. And they are not guaranteed to work forever.
Only illegal bodge work diyers would attempt to install mains fed bum jets.
I politely refused to install one for a customer recently. Guy was fine about it and fully understood illegal and unsafe work could not be done
