I'm renovating a property at the moment which had a relatively new (less than 1 year old) mixer shower installed, but for whatever reason the previous owner had not fitted the shower head. I've decided to keep the mixer shower and go with a fixed arm, wall mounted, with the 8" circular shower head.

My main problem with this is how i actually fix it. It will be concealed behind plasterboard. I didn't receive any info on how it should be fixed and im not confident it is as simple as putting through the wall and connecting it to the pipe.

If anyone on here has did this before and has any advice it would be very much appreciated.

This is what i have http://www.4bathrooms.co.uk/media/c...7c6104dd9dfe4d8fd631e/u/l/ultrasty001_big.jpg

use a wall plate behind the plasterboard and the showerhead screws into that.
