How do I turn off the hot water

Hi,

Might be a stupid question but how do I turn off the hot water. I have a Range Tribune HE water cylinder and need to take a feed from the hot pipe suppling the bath tap in order to plumb in a shower?

Any help greatly appreciated.

Turn off mains cold.

Run hot tap until hot water stops running.

Sorry for the delay in posting a reply. Just stopped laughing!! You could have always asked a close friend, I'm sure they would have suggested turning the cold off also. No faith!!!!
