How do you check if your airbricks are blocked?

Hi

Sorry if this is a stupid question but how do you check if your airbricks are blocked? I don't have cavity wall etc but the house smells musty and I have just read that one possible check is to look at your airbricks.

Is it a job a mum can do? or will I need a builder in to check?

It is a highly skilled job, requiring years of training, and best left to the experts.

But some people do it on the cheap and just get a small stick, such as a thin piece of garden cane, and push it in each of the holes to see if they are clear.

Mum , use a knitting needle Seriously tho` you need to make sure there is a clear path for the air Right Into the underfloor space .
