How do you feel about the state of this gas pipe?

I hope this is the right section. My Baxi Bermuda is fed from a gas pipe that runs across the width of the room, under the floor boards. I've just investigated for the first time and this is how I found it. What do you think, are they probably alright or is this something I should get changed?

Nice neat chase.
Pipe looks Ok but I can't say for sure from a picture. Could do with a clean up.

There is only one possible answer!!

Get a Registered Engineer to inspect and carry out a practical test on the pipe work

I do not like to see unprotected copper pipe in concrete like that!

Copper and concrete don't mix....especially if the concrete gets wet.
The pipe is probably ok but if it was mine I'd like to slip some polythene or whatever between the pipe and the chase.....without straining anything of course!
John :)

Its not to current standards as a gas pipe should be sleeved or wrapped to prevent contact with concrete.
