You would of been best off getting in a sparky, to do the job right. :lol:

PS was the 2x1 dress timber round your hatch put on by a nail gun ?

I don't know any sparkies, but it looks alright to me.



Timbers were put on with my paslode gun. I'm too lazy to use a hammer these days :lol:


(Its an IM350 1st fix gun if you're interested)

I've got the paslode gun use 60-90 mm nails all the time :lol: had a pas finishing one, but one job was working on got broken into and nicked all our tools ( dewalt ) :x

Should we start a "loft light hall of fame/shame" ? It seems like its a kinda hot topic at the moment and I'm sure there's loads of us who want to show off our handywork :wink:

I've got an emergency light in mine :lol:

Rob, i dont quite understand this, is that actually your loft light? Because I dont see anything wrong with it. Apart from the use of cable instead of flex into a plug top. But for the frequency of use i dont see how this matters.
