hi guys, i've got newly plastered dwarf walls in my conservatory. how many coats of supermatt should i apply before my finish coat of coloured matt emulsion?

do i apply 2/3 coats of supermatt(watered down appropriately) and then apply my normal matt emulsion with a further 2/3 coats as normal?

cheers guys

4/6 coats, you're making a lot of work for yourself. Just thin down your first coat of Supermatt following the manufacturer's instructions then 2 coats of your chosen colour will be fine.

Excessive coats will not necessarily give the best finish. As deccy says apply a first coat thinned by about 20% then two full coats of the chosen colour. That should be adequate.
