how much should i expect to be charged?

If they want it done Davie mate i will do it for them a lot cheaper than their original quote, hope they dont want it done immediately though, i got another Terrazzo floor to do, neighbour of a job i done a couple of weeks ago, funny why not a lot of fixers around this area will entertain Terrazzo, are they like that up North Davie mate?

terrazzo...last time i was oon one off these was many years ago mate(just starting aff.. second year into apprenteship i think..) (tiles) not the slab...bloody back and knee breaker...

fixing then the mallet.. bloody near killed me... :evil:

funny enough they gave me a shot of the grinder and polisher,now that was fun...

what grit were you using and was it a penetrating sealer..

only firm i know who do this work up ere are Toffolo Jackson..

Davie, i started off with a 14 grit diamond, then a 50 grit and finally a 100 grit, then went onto polishing using 300, 500 then 750 grit. All used on an EZ floor polisher i hired. nice and shiney it was then coated 3 times with Lithofin impregnating sealer, although the customer did want a wax polish i did talk him out of it.
These new machines are brilliant mate, grind about 4 m2, then clean off with a wet vacuum, and carry on.

Get a Terrazzo job in mate, its a piece of p.ss, things have changed since you were a bairn :LOL:
