How often should an a oil burner nozzle be changed? I know a boiler should be serviced every year and the MI states replace nozzle on service every year but i heard that although the boiler should be serviced every year no way does the nozzle have to be changed every year, whats your taughts guys :?:

So long as the flue gas analysis reports that the burner is working within manufacturers recommendations there's no real need to change the nozzle......but they are only £6 or thereabouts so every two years is fine.
Its good to keep a spare nozzle in stock though.
John :)
