Hello, I'll be doing my first glue down engineered floor next week (have always floated before). 35m2 of 190mm engineered maple.

I'm using a polymer adhesive with a F Ball B3 trowel as recommended by the manufacturer. Some of the videos I've seen on YouTube show a new blade being used with every tub. Do you think I need to get some spare blades in? How long do they tend to last and is it obvious when to change them?

Thanks

I tend to use new ones each job. If over plywood it won’t wear that well so you could use on more Jobs.
By a good question on theflooringforum.com as lots of wood fitters on there.
