How old is my 20-80 RS Flowmatic vokera?

it will be more than 10 years old definetly, it was superceded by the Excell

The Flowmatic is not even listed in the Sedbuk database.

The Excell stopped production in 1999, so you boiler is probably between 15 and 20 years old.

I was installing them in 1990, I fitted a Flowmatic 24-96 Electronic in my own house in 1992.

I'd say the Excel came out about 98 or thereabouts.

You could be correct there Tony but I'm sure I was still fitting flowmatics up to about 1996 at least, usually the date of manufacturer is on the PCB.

Sometimes the PCB date is not similar to the boiler date.

I usually find that all gas valves have the date if only you can decode them.

look at the data badge. Serial number will have a letter and number. N4 would be ninty4 boiler. This format was used for boilers models upto Excel.
