We recently had our boiler replaced and all the old pipework ripped out which included boxing around one side of the chimney breast. When the boxing was removed it left a bit of damage on the corner of the plasterwork, see picture below.
Also part of the wall hasn't been given a render at all and was wondering how we should go about matching it to the original render higher up? This part of the wall won't be exposed much longer as there will be built in bookcases mounted to this, so plasterboard isn't really an option and most of the repair won't be seen, but it makes sense to get it done.
