how soon can you reskim a wall

i have a wall that was plastered this week that i'd like to reskim, how soon can it be reskimmed? can it be done straight away or do you need it to dry for a while first before reskimming?

let it dry first preferably .

thanks, are you talking 3-4 weeks to dry properly?or just a couple of days for the change of colour?

no. until it goes light pink and all the moisture is gone.
