How to colour concrete slabs.

I have an elderly patio that was a Buff Yellow and wonder if its possible to smarten it up with some form of stain.

You could try some garage floor paint. Comes in a number of different colours, (though not a great range), and is hard wearing but the surface has to be completely dry and dust free before applying.

Many thanks for your suggestion but I have used Garage floor paint but it wears over time. I am looking for something that sinks into the concrete.

Its not got a great deal of choice for colour (8 of them) and I can't speak for its longevity yet but I am loving my old new green patio and if I get a couple of years out of it for less than 50 notes then happy days.
