Hello guys, I'm trying to fit a new shower, but after taking my old shower bar valve off, it looks like this, long G1/2" male outputs coming out, and with all new shower instructions, I can't install an S connector, as it's not the correct pipe? These outputs go quite deep, about 7cm, the old valve was directly on them. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

The picture may be deceiving ,but the threads look more like 3/4 BSP ,and not 1/2 inch.
What is their outer diameter ?

Ok, not 3/4 then .
Any access behind the wall to alter pipework?

Other than fitting a coupler to convert 1/2 to 3/4 male ,(which would very likely result in the new shower valve sitting too far away from the wall for the chrome shrouds to cover the fitting and reach the wall), you should try to find shower valves that need 1/2 feeds.
What is the distance between the centres of the two threaded fittings ?

it's 15cm, any suggestions will help me a lot, thank you
