hi i,m in process of fitting trv valve to an existing rad any ideas to what way it should be ie flow/return and how to tell if both existing valves turn to shut off water which 1 is flow and which 1 is return
TRV valves should be put on the flow unless they are bi directional so if you are not certain what type of valve it is put it on the flow to be safe. The flow pipe is the one wich heats up first when the radiator is turned on and this pipe will always be hotter than the return.
