How to fix leaking plastic pipe?

I can't seem to get my dropbox images to display but....

...under our sink there's a plastic pipe that comes out from the plaster board, through a hole in the back of the unit carcass and then to the drain. It's the one with bits of tissue tied to it in the photo. I'm fairly certain it's for condensation from the boiler.

OK....so the joint at the top of the vertical is leaking. I was hoping for some advice on how to fix please? If it's important, then there's about 6 cm between the corner piece and the back.

The joint will need to be glued.

Turn off boiler, pull apart pipework and glue with solvent cement.

Get the solvent weld cement out, chances are they missed a wee bit. Shut off the boiler. Dry the fitting with toilet roll until it no longer gets wet. Then glue, use the brush to get as much into the fittings gap and then get your finger into it, run it around the edge of the fitting squeezing in as much glue as possible, keep you fingers crossed (once you've cleaned the glue off them of course). Leave for half an hour and then run the boiler and see if it holds. If not and it still leaks then you need a gas engineer in to replace the condensate pipework.

Ok...just following up on this. Used self amalgamating tape and it's been bone dry ever since.
