I'm fitting new bathroom suite and I have replaced the bath and where the old bath was there is a patch which is just the brickwork what's the best way to patch this up to blend into the plaster work thanks View media item 77935

Knock of the rest of plaster on the block, giving you a clear surface to work with, then I would basecoat render the area and fit a bead on the external angle ready to skim.
