Hi all,
Hoping you can help. I’ve been tiling my shower and was ready to grout before putting a massive scratch on one of the tiles. I went to remove the tile but it’s taken the tanking and some of the cement board with it. As it’s in a shower, I want to do what I can to make sure it’s not going to leak. Any advice on how best to sort this? Could I smooth it out with bonding before painting some tanking on it and then putting in a new tile? Thanks.

Yes it is, a side wall in the shower, so not directly being showered on (and not a power shower), but will still be getting wet daily.
