hi all
I am replacing the corrugated sheet roof with slates to match the other slates on the roof.
The height of the corrugated part of the roof might have to come up by 3 inches which would include the bearers on the trusses (old A frame) and felt and battens. It depends what we find when the scaffold gets put up and we take some sheets off. Can't tell from the inside as the thick membrane is going to stay in place until we can get the new membrane on to prevent any rain getting in.
If the height has to go up 3 inches then the new slates will be above the cement, if not it'll be about the same height as the cement.
My question is. Which way would be the best to flash over the cement ridge if above it or level to it?
Sorry the pic has fallen over, can't see where to rotate it!
The chimney should be no problem, just the cement ridge!
Thanks
Steve
