I have a terrace that has this shape:

Hopefully you can see what I'm getting at. Basically two L shapes. Since I need to have a gradient away from the house for drainage, I'm wondering how best to handle the corners. I will be using large format tiles. Will I need to create a diagonal at the corners and cut the tiles? I'm afraid this won't be aesthetically pleasing and will disrupt the appearance - I.e. it won't look like a continuous surface if you know what I mean. For some reason I can't seem to find examples of this in Google images.
I'd be grateful for any advice!
