The clear plastic things have screws in them...turn off ALL the power and unscrew them. Fit new fitting with cable from ceiling going to relevant terminals: Live Earth and Neutral. Then turn power back on.
If you are still unsure I would say that you may not b e cut out for this kinda DIY and maybe get a electrician in. Should not cost much for what looks very very straightforward.
