Hi

I am with TALKTALK and have one of their modems. When I did my house up I ran Ethernet cables from the modem point all over the house. I want to get a better wireless coverage on the top floor. What's the best way to do this? I have ZyXEL wre 2205 but I'm not sure how best to use it. I'm told if I have the Ethernet cable running round the house this is the best option. Look to plug into the LAN on the entry router and into the LAN etc on the piece of kit I want to use to boost the signal.

Thanks

James

Can you run an ethernet cable to the top floor?
If so you can then plug another wifi router or access point in to increase the wifi range.

I just got a "WiFi repeater", <£8 on ebay. Sits in a power socket. Works fine. Range is 10m+
