How do you guys keep the LS-X from drying out.
This tube is very handy, but expensive as it always dries out before I can finish it.
I've tried carefully tightening the cap, but some parts at the top always dry out.

Any recommendations on how to prevent this from drying out.

The only people in the trade that ever use this stuff are BG....'cos they think it fixes any water leak regardless of pressure. Chuck it in the bin...it's a waste of time and used by bodgers.

No, it's just doesn't have a use.

All I see is LSX plastered all over boilers in an attempt to stop leaks instead of a fibre washer or O ring being replaced.

Any applications requiring silicon sealant...use a proper sanitary or applicable product.

Here's another great BG bodge...of course it carried on leaking...f**wits

I do agree, BG do abuse is tube.
But it does have its uses.
I don't use it that much, may be that's why it always dries out before I need it again.
