how to open a metal tin

I can't be the only one that makes a mess every time I use danish oil/wood preserver/etc - pouring from the tin with it splashing over the edge and going everywhere.

Well tonight my life has changed forever, and maybe yours will too....

The last photo is wrong. When pouring from a container like that, hold the container with the outlet upper or sideways, not with it downwards, and this avoids glugs.

Yes thanks that's a good tip, that's about the only bit I did know! There needs to be a path for fluid to get out and air to get in at the same time .
