How do I go about this?
Do I butt the ends together, or should I lay an expansion gap for each sheet?
Also, do I glue it to the floor? if so, What Adhesive is needed for the job?

I plan to play Parquet blocks down eventually...

I believe the concrete floor doesnt have a moisture problem as it seems relatively dry to the touch.

Why do you want to lay ply down.

If your fitting Parquet just fit this straight to concrete

If you really want to fit the ply you can use evostick gripfill and plug and screw the ply down "2x10 screws + brown plugs.
Put plenty of screws round the egdges as well as the middle, approx 20 screws per 8'x4' board
Leave a 10-15mm gap where the flooring meets the skirting. Keep the joints between the ply tight
