How to relocate doorbell wiring for smart doorbell?

Hi,

I'm trying to install a ring doorbell however my current button doorbell is positioned in a way that is to the side of my house (see attached pictures).

As a complete DIY novice, would someone be willing to offer how you might go about relocating the wiring so that it sits flush with the front of the house? I'm not sure how I would drill a hole and gain access to the existing doorbell wire? Also I'm assuming I'd need a masonry drill bit for the work?

Thanks, I'd prefer to have a better viewing angle if possible. How would you go about it out of interest?
