How to remove attic beams...

Hi, I'm looking to make the upper floor in an annex building more usable/liveable, however there are few beams that restrict head height. I've added a few images to show what these look like. I'm about to talk to a structural engineer but I wondered and would really appreciate it if anyone on here had any advice?

Advice would be to wear hard hats if you remove the RSJs. They are supporting the roof.

Sorry, let me rephrase the question. Is there another solution to the two parallel top RSJ's e.g. a central, single (wider) RSJ running under the ridge. Obviously I'm not just planning on removing the beams, I'm hoping for an alternative solution.
