Hi,

I want to re-do my bathroom and wondered what is the best method to remove tiles as I have been told its better to just tile over the top of the current ones as it takes half the wall away when remove them.

Whats the best method to take tiles off?

i would advise against tile on tile.. just my personal reference. use a 2 inch bolster and a hammer wont take long at all, if they have been put up poorly they will fly off if not, there are plenty of plasterers around.

The tiles you want to remove, are they fixed with adhesive OR sand & cement?
And what are they fixed to ie, plaster board, brick/plaster

You've got to be prepared to accept that most of the mortar might come off with it.
