How to remove door from these hinges? - help please!

Hi

I need to pain the door frames (as well as skirting boards). I would like to take the doors off to facilitate this. I have been trying to remove the door from the hinges but I cannot.

The hinges I have are Eclipse Grade 11 - picture attached. I have been trying to remove the cap at the ends of the hinges (so I can later remove the pin), but they won't move. I have been using a hammer and a slim flat tip screw driver to take them out but nothing happens. I am starting to think these caps are not supposed to be removed.

What am I doing wrong?

Remove the hinge from either the door or the frame....the pins don't always come out!

dont think those 1s are meant to be parted like you have been doing,
so do as above.

They certainly won't! Fire-rated hinges like those Eclipse hinges need to have non-removeable pins
