How to remove several layers of floor tiles?

Our house has suspended concrete floors and the kitchen has a good build up of tiles, about 4 layers.
We wish to take the floor back to the concrete so we can underfloor heat and have it the same level as other rooms, as we've taken a wall down.

Someone has mentioned a scrabbler but says it's a big job that gets messy.

Any advice?

You could hire a medium density breaker, or you could by a cheap SDS drill from Lidl. The medium density breaker will break the tiles much easier, but if you've got wire and water embedded in the concrete floor, then slower might be safer. You'll want a narrow blade to break the tiles, and a wider one to go arcoss the surface to break off any adhesive.
