I want to shut a radiator off in our rental house because it doesn't have a thermostatic valve on and the others do which means the system is always on even when other radiators are at temp, how do I do it?

I've attached images of both radiator valves

Tharp to hold the pin down, or a brick...or risk turning the lock shield off the other end...but make a note of the turns (it's actually got the wrong cap on it).

SydShaw, there is a reason that trv sensor is not fitted,it could be intentional (n)

The valve is a vintage danfoss RA-FN
A new danfoss sensor RAS-C2 should fit. But consider the internals of that vintage valve could be defective and not shut down the water flow.

To get a first time fix, have a new danfoss ras-c2 valve&sensor fitted
