How to trim a door jamb along its internal edge? Door won't close properly

A Diyer that (seemingly) hung a new door and is talking about using their router?
Well, he asked and I replied.
Maybe a very optimistic diyer, I have seen many in my days using tools in a way that only pure luck saved them.

3 doors trimmed and hung, edges minutely mitred, locks and handles fitted. Very optimistic!

If you're so experienced, why didn't you take the door off and do the job without messing about?

further general comments
if its the original door or a properly fitted correct sized door the only material you should be removing is paint and only paint if you reach bare wood and theres no paint to remove on the matching surface then something is wrong if you dont have a door stop and the frame is plumb and square then the door is wrong
you should never ever adapt a correct door frame to a door as the next door will not fit
