i found these but i fail to understand the current thermostat goes to 3 and 4, from what i know,

4 goes to no but can i not get a live and neutral from the boiler.

Do we assume Vaillant Ecotec Pro Combi boiler (no hot water cylinder)?

Rough iPad drawing...

hello
really appreciate that last effort but the wiring diagram for mine is different version no x1. i will upload photo now if possible. thanks

if some one is able to transpose that wiring i would really much appreciate it.
thanks in advance

As above, but RT becomes 4

3, 4, 5 is live out, live back, neutral.

3, L
4, RT
5, N

Well, eventually

you remove the link between terminals 3 and 4 and insert the wires from COM and N/O on the receiver.

Do you have a remote programmer and thermostat at the moment?
Where is the switch which isolates the CH?
Do you have a wiring centre near the boiler?

hello
no to each of those questions.
sorry dont know what u mean by ch

hello lectrician

thanks very much for your time and knowledge.
i believed it was concerning 3 and 4, wasnt sure about the link between com and l. now i can see you must be correct.
was you aware of this info or did you calculate it.
would you use 3 core plus earth (cutting back)?
or 3 core flex including earth?
can i put sheath on the over th earth and use that from no to 4 (Rt)
