hydromax shower/aqulisa aquarian

hydromax shower fitted in a 7 year old barratts house.
two in fact but only one playing up in that it weeps 24/7 on the left hand side/on.off control.
this l/h lever is very stiff to turn (lever on working one is smooth)
anyone familiar with this shower? that could offer some advice

just had another look on the showerdoctor website at the spares list for the shower
did not realisle but at the bottom of the page are q&a s for the shower which previous callers have asked and the showerdoc tech team have answered.
the last question in the group asks about a constant dripping and the reply is that the cartridge is not shutting off. very good service from the showerdoc team.
