    Dont know if you guys have seen this ... a Birmingham taxi driver refused to transport poppies... in a country which he can freely apply his trade due to the men who give their lives for this freedom... bet my life he is not english decent

    The Taxi Driver was employed by a firm , he was told to do a job, he refused there appears to be no legitimate reason so he got the sack, end of .

    Or did he?

    The company refused to name the driver, or any other details which may identify him/her, because of the new GDPR rules in force.

    In short, they can say they took action but don't have to prove it because of these regulations.

    Looks like he was sacked because he lied about doing the job (journey) when he hadn't.
