I have installed 8 x 30 watt 12v led floods in my garden which are powered directly from a leisure battery but they don't work??

Can you do some measurements as asked?
This shows that you will have bugger all voltage to power the lamps if they are on the end of a 30m length of 2mm cable.

Yeah I have had covid along with my wife and as we are in retirement it takes us a little longer than some to get over the dam thing! As soon as able I will be out there as I am desperate to get this sorted. The relay and a new multimeter arrived today as well so hopefully I can get some answers!
