I love it. And it's rated pretty much everywhere as one of the top comedies ever and the best one of the 1990s, with an amazing performance from Bill Murray. Andie MacDowall is adorable in it as well. But it probably won't suit everybody. It takes a little while to get going so it's worth persevering.

Just started watching it while Mrs Mottie was up in the bath. Not bad but when Mrs Mottie came down she said "Oh, not bloody Groundhog Day again.”. I said "I’ve never seen it, how come you have". She said "We watched it together". I really can’t remember. Weird!

I suppose it is an old film now. It came out in the early 1990s. I avoided it at the cinema because I didn't actually like Bill Murray and I didn't rate Andie McDowell and the trailers made it look really naff. Then a year later my other half hired it on video, and to my surprise I loved it. She wasn't best pleased because I watched it again straight away. And then a third time before we returned it.
