Have you tried to get an appointment with a GP recently?
And there lies one of the reasons A and E departments are at breaking point . People having to go there because they cannot get a GP appointment cant even book in advance having to phone each morning for a very very limited amount of appointments even people who the doc says they need to see again cant get back in .
 
It's not an issue where I live. I called the clinic on Tuesday for an appointment and got into a long call queue. The automated voice asked me if I wanted a call back rather than listen to Greensleeves for 15 mins. I pressed ok. They called me back and I was booked in on Thursday (just gone). The doctor then arranged for me to see the physio, later that day.

After 14 years of muppets gp appointments are 48 days
so you cant answer then glad we cleared that up , was quite bad before covid but with all you covid jab junkies allowing doctors to dictate that they couldnt see people it became ten times worse
