America was founded on immigration, they destroyed most of the native American Indian population through starvation disease and taking their land. Now the established powerful wealthy elites have decided to close the doors. For the size of their country there is plenty of potential for growth than others in the West

Have you tried to get an appointment with a GP recently?
It's horrendous, the system seems to be designed to protect the receptionists as much as help the patient. Cutting off the phones at 8 a.m. when they have been busy even though you phoned earlier and held on longer seems counter productive. It must result n more people going to A&E. But that is why I said "at all".
It's not an issue where I live. I called the clinic on Tuesday for an appointment and got into a long call queue. The automated voice asked me if I wanted a call back rather than listen to Greensleeves for 15 mins. I pressed ok. They called me back and I was booked in on Thursday (just gone). The doctor then arranged for me to see the physio, later that day.

Same here, no issues seeing a doctor at short notice if you need to. On a similar vein, my next dentist's appointment is the 17th, no real issues there either.
