Whats the best cleaner to use for cleaning and disinfecting an ICE MAKER, obviosuley i have given it a thorugh wiping out with clean fresh water, but is there a SAFE cleaning agent/chemical i could use as i can see a build up of some kind of "stuff" beginning to get in the nooks and crannies of the machine that a clth cannot remove

How does the ice maker work? we used to use a cleaner when i worked on the fridges i think it came from the states i was a bit like beer line cleaner but you had to run it through the system then drain it off fill with water and let it do about 1 1/2 hours of ice production then dump the ice off in the sink.
Not sure how this would work on your system as i dont know the ins and outs of it
