Hi. I went through a lot of posts and can't find any answer.

So I'm trying to connect Ideal Instinct 2 combi boiler and Hive thermostat receiver.
Old Honeywell termostat had two wires only, so I connected Hive receiver to boiler wiring directly (L to L, N to N, earth to earth and two cables from 2 and 3 to boiler where old thermostat was).
So after powering boiler back , Hive receiver won't switch boiler on by pressing button on receiver. I can hear click and that's it.
I have a open therm loop so I tried to remove it but still not working.
Should I have loop in receiver between L and 1?
Can anyone help me please.

Hopefully you have a single channel Hive?
The connections should be between 1 (Com) and 3 (NO):

If your previous stat worked with only 2 wires, don't add a link between L and 1

But, your post seems a little vague, a photo of your wiring and previous stat may help us confirm.

Have you removed the old thermostat wiring altogether? Can you post a photo of the wiring?
