Ideal instinct 24KW

I have just put one of these boilers in yesterday on a flat (helped engineer do it).

I have to say i am really impressed with the look of it. It's compact and everything seems tidy on it.

Just wondered what others thought about this boiler. I get a 5yr warranty, so not long, but will do. More concerned with the parts longer term.

Do these boilers have any issues to watch out for ?

It was fitted with a magnaclean pro 2 and a descaler

They're OK, essentially an Ideal Logic with a shorter warranty for a lower price. Modulation on them is pretty poor, minimum output around 7kW which makes them a bit inefficient on small systems. Main known issues are heat exchangers tending to crack internally and leak into the condensate, and heat exchanger sumps which crack and leak into the casing (although apparently this has been redesigned so may no longer be an issue, time will tell).
